French Satinwood Louis XVI Semanier Chests

Fabulous pair of Louis XVI Satinwood Semanier Chests with bow shaped fronts, mother of pearl and ebony inlays, bookmatched satinwood and rosewood veneers, and beveled marble tops. The construction is of superb quality with inside linen drawer, mahogany secondary woods, and exquisite inlays and workmanship throughout. The chests are in excellent condition with original finish, c. 1890-1900, size 43 1/2" height, 16" width, by 16" depth at center. This piece is part of a large bedroom suite. The pieces of the suite are being sold seperately, but if desired the suite could be sold as one with a reduction in price.
