Rare Early 19th C. Hand Painted Coalport Bulb Pot

A very rare early 19th C. porcelain hand painted bulb pot, not marked but attributed to Coalport, in the shape of an Italian Bombe Chest. The pot features delicate hand painted floral garlands; beautiful gilt highlights contrasting with Chinese red and purple borders. This is a delightful display piece even if never used to hold bulbs; in excellent condition; a must for the collector of unusual porcelains; size 5" H x 8" L x 5 1/2" D.
