Presenting a gorgeous handpainted Limoges charger with vividly painted game fowls, set against a shaded background with daisies in the foreground, the scalloped edges highlighted in gilt; signed by the artist. This, along with several other Limoges chargers that I will be listing in the next few days, came from the Estate of an avid collector who had been gathering these treasures for over 50 years. Pia's was lucky enough to acquire some of those pieces; in excellent condition with minute gilt loss, fitted with wire on the back for hanging; size 11 1/2" D.
