A fabulous Gondola style Empire period chair with Dutch Marquetry inlay embellishing the entire frame. The chair is supported on cylindrical shaped legs ending in ball feet. The chair is covered in a later gold striped silk fabric that can still be used with a little cleaning. This fine chair is in excellent age appropriate condition of small size typical of early 19th century pieces; size 33 ½” H x 18 ½” W x 17” D.
