Pierced Carved Giltwood Petite Pier Mirror

An early 20th century Italian pier mirror in the Chippendale style with arched pierced carved acanthus leaf crest decorated with a center medallion hand painted on board with a chinoiserie scene.  The giltwood frame is further embellished with scrolled carvings in very good condition with minor age related restoration to the carved crest.  The size of this mirror makes it perfect for that narrow powder room or hallway; 53" H x 18" W.
