Exceptional pair of early 19th century hand carved Louis XVI Bergères. The demilune frames are hand-carved in a finely detailed floral and leaf pattern with original parcel-gilt finish. They are in excellent condition and have been recently reupholstered in a exquisite rose colored Scalamandré silk fabric, their famous pattern known as “Lovebirds.”
