An fanciful pair of German porcelain candlesticks in tripartite form with the base shaped by three elephant heads, their trunks forming the candlestick column and terminating in a leaf formed nozzle.

They are marked on the bottom with the "Rudolstadt, Germany, diamond," emblem in underglaze blue which is from "L. Strauss & Sons, Thuringia, Germany." They are in mint condition.
