Old Carpenter’s Wood Plane

This is a nice antique carpenter’s wood plane with a raised handle. It measures approximately 9 ½” long and 5 ½” from the bottom of the plane to the top of the handle. It shows a hundred years of use and age. The wood has a beautiful patina and the edges are smoothed from time and use. The edges of the wood are banged and worn down. There two pieces of wood missing on the bottom near the metal plane. One missing piece measures about ½” and the other piece measures about 1 ½”. It still makes a nice early collectible and looks great on a shelf or in a cabinet.
