This is a great made in Japan children’s tea set with a matching two handled cake or serving plate. The set consists of a tea pot, sugar bowl, creamer, serving plate, six cups & saucers, & 6 cake plates. The set has a pretty design of brown wheat and green leaves with gold trim on all of the pieces. The tea pot measures approximately 3” high and 3” in width. The creamer measures approximately 1 ¾” high and 2” in width. The sugar bowl measures approximately 2” high and 2” wide. The cups measure approximately 1 ½” high and 2 ½” in diameter. The saucers measure approximately 4” in diameter. The cake plates measure approximately 4 ½” in diameter. The two handled cake or serving plate measures approximately 5 ¼” in diameter. All of the pieces are marked “Made in Japan”. The condition is good. The tea pot is missing its cover. There is some wear on the gold trim. There is a small chip on the rim of one of the saucers and the creamer has a chip or an imperfection on the spout - it is very rough. There are no other chips, cracks or crazing.
