Impressive Rowland & Marsellus Flow Blue Niagara Falls Souvenir Plate

This is a fabulous Rowland & Marsellus historical flow blue rolled edge Niagara Falls souvenir plate. The blue is deep and dramatic. The scenery and the detail on this plate are amazing. It is 10” in diameter and was imported from Staffordshire, England for S. C. Fagard, Niagara Falls, NY. In the center of the plate it depicts Niagara Falls and six other scenes along the rolled edge such as the Whirlpool Rapids, Luna’s Island, the footbridge across the rapids, and the American Falls. Please see the photos for details. It is in good condition. It does have minor crazing due to age, but no cracks, chips or lines. It has the Rowland and Marsellus manufacturer’s mark on the back. It dates to the early 1900’s. Rowland and Marsellus made a series of American scenic, historical events and presidential plates for export to the United States from about 1893 though 1938.
