This is a beautiful clear glass cocktail shaker or martini mixer with a sterling silver rim. The body is engraved with sprays of flowers, beaded swags and hanging tassels. Toward the top is a band of engraved beads circling the vase. The lid and strainer are missing and the item has been priced accordingly. It is marked Hawkes, with the Trefoil (clover) fleur-de-lis and two birds inside the clover. This is the mark for T. G. Hawkes & Co. It measures approximately 10 ¼ inches high approximately 4 ½ inches in diameter. The condition is excellent. It dates to circa 1930 - 1940’s.
