Beautiful 19th Century Hand Painted Rose & Garland Cup & Cup Plate

Size: Cup Approximately 3 ½” in diameter and 2 ¼” high Cup Plate 4 ½” in diameter Color/Description: This is a beautifully detailed cup and cup plate. There is a hand painted design of pink flowers that look like old fashioned roses with dark green and light green garlands trailing around the cup plate. In the center of the cup and the saucer is a dark green and light green leaf. There is a thin red stripe running around the diameter of the cup at the top and toward the bottom. There is a thin red stripe around the center of the cup plate and the rim of the plate. There are red and purple details in the design also. The cup has a pretty molded handle on it. Marks: none - there is a hand painted number on the back “380” Artist signed: Unsigned Condition: Good - there are minor flaws in the pottery which is normal for the age of these items. There is discoloration on the back of the cup plate and light crazing due to age. Age: circa early to mid 1800’s Weight: approx. 1 1/2 lbs.
