Early 1900’s Light Blue Leather Baby Shoes w/Fancy Silk Socks

Welcome to Penaroyal Collectibles!!! We have for sale a wonderful old pair of baby shoes and socks. The shoes are made of leather on the outside and on the inside bottom section. They are lined on the inside of the sides with cloth. Both are light blue in color and are accented with a little round silk ribbon and one button. One is marked on the inside “2” and each measures just under 4 ½” long x 1 ½” wide. Both shoes are in nice condition for their age. They both show gentle wear, a few minor nicks places in the leather, slight soiling and the inside has darkened over the years from the leather toughing it. Along with the shows we have the original box. It is also in nice condition for its age with minor wear and a few age spots. The socks are very fancy. They look like what folks call silk socks. Each sock has a seam running down the back and it also extends across the bottom. The lower section of each sock has a fairly fancy pattern and on the mid section of each sock is a fancy diamond shaped pattern. Both socks are in nice condition with gentle wear and one sock has a couple dark spots. We are not sure what has caused the spots or if they could be removed.

These item came from an estate sale in Lebanon, Missouri. The shoes and socks were both in the little box when we bought them.
