Wonderful Antique Adjustable Bullet Mold with Wooden Handles

Welcome to Penaroyal Collectibles!!! We have for sale a wonderful vintage bullet mold with wooden handles. This item measures approx 8” long x 2” x 2 ¾”. The mold area is made of a heavy type metal and all four sides have one screw. The handles are made of wood and attach to the mold with a brass ring. There are several things stamped into the metal. The things we can read are “25720”on one side and “Pat. Feby. 10-91” is on the opposite side. There is also something above that that we cannot make out. Part of looks like New Haven. If this is correct this item is a Ideal by New Haven. This item is in nice condition for its age with some wear, screws have a little rust and surface rust, and the two long screws turn easy, but could probably use a little oil. The handles look nice with slight wear and they are just slightly dark near the working end and one has a very minor crack. We are not sure what size of bullet this mold made. The mold measures approx 1" long x ¼” wide and it looks like it would of had six small grove rings that went inward and seven rings that went outward.

We think this is for a .30 cal. bullet.

We found this item for sale on-line and it was running $130.00 and it had a couple parts missing.
