Welcome to Penaroyal Collectibles!!! We have for sale a very neat old Mortar and Pestle. The mortar stands approx 6 ¾” high x 7” across the top. It is made of what looks like cast iron and weighs approx 9 ½ lbs. It is in good condition with no cracks or chips. It does have some slight rust, surface rust and some slight pitting. It needs to be polished or painted and it would look great. We will leave cleaning for the next owner. The pestle measures approx 10 ½” long. It is made rather neatly. It is all metal with a ball on the end and it looks handed forged. It is in good condition with some minor rust, surface rust and pitting. This item has a slight bow about midway and the end looks like it was cut off and smoothed down some. This piece is rather crud compared to the mortar. It is in good condition with some minor rust and much of that is surface rust.
