1913 Double Pocket Die Cut Pied Piper Calendar

Welcome to Penaroyal Collectibles!!! We have for sale a 1913 Die Cut Pied Piper Calendar. This is a very beautiful detailed calendar. It is detailed from the top to the bottom. The back scene is of the town. You can see buildings and plants. Some of these areas are tinted with green and lavender tones. This calendar also has two pockets. The upper pocket has four children playing. They look like they are getting ready to cross a bridge. The lower pocket has the Pied Piper blowing his horn. This pocket also has the information ad about where the calendar is from. It is marked in black lettering, "Compliments of Joseph Bartunek -Dealer In- Staple and Fancy Groceries, Teas, Coffees and Best Flour, 2859 S. Trumbull Ave., Chicago".

This old calendar is in very nice condition for its age. There is some slight wear to the outer edges. The most wear and it is not bad is on the corners of the pockets. The back left boy's hand, one leaf and the Piper's horn are bent forward slightly. The wear is nothing compared to the beauty and detailing of this piece.

This calendar measures approx 12 1/2" x 16".
