Extra Large Ironstone Cup/Mug

Welcome to Penaroyal Collectibles!!! We have for sale an extra large ironstone cup or mug. This is a wonderful old piece that is rather large. It measures approx 4 1/4" tall x 4 1/2" across the top. It has a regular size handle on the side. This cup is in nice condition for its age. There is some slight wear. I can find no cracks or chips. There are a few mold flaws and the glaze did not take in a few places. A couple places that the glaze did not take are slightly dirty. The inside has a few minor stain lines. The most wear appears to be on the handle. It for some reason is extra dark. All these little flaws add to the beauty and history of this item.

NOTE:We are not sure if this is a shaving mug or a regular over-sized cup. We do know that we have never seen a cup/mug of ironstone this size before.

Just image this sitting on your table fill with cinnamon sticks.
