Biwa Pearls are cultured in Lake Biwa, Japan (fresh-water). These white pearls radiate iridescent colors. I selected the gold pearls (dyed) for their color: like gold nuggets, not brassy. They set off the white pearls nicely.

The necklace is 16 1/2 inches long.

I made the bracelet of matching gold Biwa pearls with an identical 14K circular clasp so that it can be attached to the necklace to make it 7 1/2 inches longer, or worn separately.

The pearl clusters range in size from 29 to 18 mm wide, the longest is 39 mm long. The gold ones range from 28 mm to 18 mm long.

Necklace and bracelet together weigh 69 grams.
