Van Arsdale and D. Emma Wilber. Illustration by Ben Carlton Mead. Blue cloth binders with white writing, color front page, the binding is loose but still intact. There 750 pages, the back and front pages have blue and white illustrations, depicting the stories inside and a retail text book price of $1.17. Some of the prose listed: The Silver Skates, Tom Brown's First Day at Rugby, The Wild Goat's Kid, The First Bow & Arrow. Listings of some of the poetry: The Courtship of Miles Standish, Going Down The Hill On A Bicycle, Nature's Friend. This is just a sample of fine reading in this book.
