This vintage book is in remarkable condition for a children story book from 1946. The Pocket Dolly Book have blue boards, on the front boards a rag doll in a blue and yellow semi-push out pocket and the back boards have five different characters from the story book. This is an accordion-style book with 7 panels (13 reading pages). Published by Capitol Publishing Company, New York, written by Jean B. Kell, pictures by Mardi. The story line is of a very small rag doll name Jennie who hid in a little girl name Nancy's coat pocket and it took her on quite an adventure, great bedtime reading. The spine is intact, the boards and spine do have bend edges, scuffing and small tears at the top. Colorful graphics inside, the children book measures: fold -7 3/4''w x 10 1/8''l x 11/4''h: extended - 62 1/4'' long. Hard to find with rag doll still attached.
