Here is a very different trivet which is the work of Matthew Adams who, at one time worked at the studio of Sascha Brastoff. It shows a Mama, Papa and baby Eskimo in circles which are indented. These pieces were originally made for the Alaskan tourist trade but seemed to be purchased more by Californians. The back is simply marked "CB23" in gold. This line is known as the Alaska Series, and was designed by Matthew Adams, who worked for the Sascha Brastoff Studio in California. The vase is and unusual and harder to find. It is 5 3/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide at the top. The picture is an Alaskan stilt hut with added gold line accents and is signed Sascha B. The bottom is marked F20 in gold. This vase is in excellent condition. NO chips, nicks or cracks.

You can find this in Mark Supnick's Shawnee guide, page 26, plate #8. 5 1/2 inches tall. If you are collecting sewing items or Shawnee pottery this is a rare find and "must have!".

With two graceful handles and a beautiful matte greencolor, this 11 inch Stangl vase is a beauty. NO chips, cracks or nicks. This vase is illustrated in the shape library section of the Stangl book which means is was made only between 1935-1942. The number on the bottom is 3152.
