Very nice quality and crystal, clear glass with a star bottom that has been ground and no seam lines which makes me believe this was made by one of the Elegant glassware companies. No one saves their locks of hair for braiding anymore an most likely have not since the early 1900's. This wonderful piece is 4" x 3", has a wheel cut daisy on the front and back and is in great shape, there is some very minor roughness along the rim of the lid but no chips or cracks.

Made during the Depression years when powder jars where the norm on every ladies dresser or vanity! This piece is not a baby pink but more of a peach or salmon, frosted glass. It is in excellent condition, I don't even find any flea bites around the rim or lid which is quite rare. It measures about 5" tall and 6" across and even though most of us don't use loose powder anymore, it would be a great candy dish or trinket box.

What a great piece, this string holder is stamped on the back, Occupied Japan. It measures 7" by 5" and is in outstanding condition with no chips, cracks or fleabites. Made between 1945 and 1952; housewives would place there roll of string in the back, feed the end through the hole in the mouth making it possible to conceal the string and also have it readily available!

Hand painted and signed, Limoges, porcelain, dresser or vanity tray. This piece measures 11" by 8" and is decorated with lovely, hand painted, wild roses in yellow with the leaves and background in a greens and aqua. The back is signed M. S. P. by the artist in the same paint that was used on the leaves and it is also stamped "Limoges France". There is no damage to this piece and the gold trim is still in tact but worn.

Louise Piper was one of the most influential artists at Fenton Glass from 1968 through the 1980's. This is a hand painted and signed white satin egg with blue roses. It is signed L. Piper on the bottom and does not carry the Fenton logo since it was made before they marked all of their items some time in the 1970's. No damage and 3.5" tall.
