What a great piece, this string holder is stamped on the back, Occupied Japan. It measures 7" by 5" and is in outstanding condition with no chips, cracks or fleabites. Made between 1945 and 1952; housewives would place there roll of string in the back, feed the end through the hole in the mouth making it possible to conceal the string and also have it readily available!

Made during the Depression years when powder jars where the norm on every ladies dresser or vanity! This piece is not a baby pink but more of a peach or salmon, frosted glass. It is in excellent condition, I don't even find any flea bites around the rim or lid which is quite rare. It measures about 5" tall and 6" across and even though most of us don't use loose powder anymore, it would be a great candy dish or trinket box.

Very nice quality and crystal, clear glass with a star bottom that has been ground and no seam lines which makes me believe this was made by one of the Elegant glassware companies. No one saves their locks of hair for braiding anymore an most likely have not since the early 1900's. This wonderful piece is 4" x 3", has a wheel cut daisy on the front and back and is in great shape, there is some very minor roughness along the rim of the lid but no chips or cracks.

This great looking, jointed, cardboard, Santa was made in the USA and still has the original envelope from 1955. 11" high and 8" at the widest point it is in excellent condition, no bends, tears or discoloration and it even still has the little circular piece of cardboard that you would push out if you wanted to hang him with string. It does look like there was a piece of tape or price sticker across the back on his legs--no real damage, just the usual layer of paper missing from the removal.

WOW, Is this cooool!! The die-cut, double-sided, cardboard lantern is finished on the inside with a metallic gold colored cardboard which not only would reflect the light but even without a candle or light, it gives it an eerie look. This comes from the collection of a wonderful lady who has collected nice quality perfume bottles for over 40 years. This is unsigned but is clearly Czech glass, the glass is clear and bright and the cuts a precise and clean. Although you come across the salt and pepper shakers at times, you almost never see the oil and vinegar cruets. All are made of red-ware and have a black glaze with red and gold accents. The cruets are about 7" tall and the pups are about 2". All are in good condition with only minor paint wear--The lid on the oil cruet is very tight--I don't want to break the cork so I have not removed it.

Beautiful, cobalt blue glass with carnival finish giving it and iridescent glow with pinks, teals, purples, golds and greens. 7.25" across, it has the W over G mark on the back and there is NO damage. This lovely piece has so much going for it, first off, it is Nippon and it is marked on the back. It has an Art Deco feel to it which would have been from the early 1900's--it is hand painted with orange and yellow water lilies and the brown trim and handle have the added dots of slipware that is known as moriage. J & E Stevens of Cromwell, CT was in business from the 1840's until the 1950 an produced some of the first iron cap guns. This sweet, little, single cap, toy gun is 3.5" long and in very good condition with no breaks and is in working condition. The Pluck was produced for a number of years but I believe this is most likely one of the older ones since the Made in USA is actually hand etched into the side, the newer ones it is embossed in the molding. Great collectors piece.

Wonderful condition, especially for celluloid which is almost paper thin. This is a half doll with Japan stamped on the bottom of the doll, her arms move and she is dressed in a white (now ivory) wedding gown and veil. This jump rope is just so much fun, when you turn the rope, the Santa handles make a clinking noise and their little red tongues move in and out. This still has the original Holt Howard paper label and the tin parts are marked, Made in Japan and have a Pat. number on them. The rope was originally a red plastic which disintegrated from age.
