Lovely example of Victorian style, this gold filled metal bar pin has a central raised design of turquoise beads set around a prong set paste or rhinestone with arms projecting out from the middle of the setting. On both ends a turquoise bead is set in a fancy curliqued setting with a trefoil shaped projection at the end. Back of the pin has an older C-shaped clasp. Pin is slightly bent but does close securely. I note some age appropriate metal wear with some of the underlying silver colored metal showing through the gold finish. The paste or rhinestone has lost some of its foil backing, but it still has plenty of sparkle. Pin measures 2 1/2" long. Given the age of this pin, it is in remarkably good condition and has a delightful style even today.
