SOLD Victorian Gold Filled Repousse' Heart Locket with Mine Cut Diamond Accent

This pretty Victorian era gold filled heart shaped locket has a swirled repousse' design on one side and a smooth side on the other, accented by a 2+ point mine cut diamond in a recessed prong or Gypsy setting, surrounded by an etched star. Hearts have always symbolized love, and this antique locket would make a great gift as a token of love to your sweetheart or as a treat for yourself. Locket opens to hold a photo and still has the original celluloid in the recessed setting. Back of locket has been inscribed with initials possibly reading SH-- a bit hard to decipher. No markings on locket, which measures 3/4 inches long including the bale. I have added a 16 inch vintage gold filled chain circa 1930's to 40's with a clasp that is marked 1/20 K for gold filled. Locket is in very good vintage condition, with minor age appropriate wear which can be seen with a loupe. The diamond has a slight chip on one edge although this is not obvious to the naked eye.
