Undivided back postcard is postmarked Dec. 23, 1907 and has a written message as well as the penny stamp. It is cheerfully designed with a bright red background and an oval picture of what I assume would be a Christmas pudding decorated with ivy and berries. Two lit candles are on the lower right. The words "Christmas Greetings" are at the top right, with a verse below, saying "Brave hope for days to be, the granting of one's best desires I ask it all for thee." The artist is Ellen H. Clapsaddle. Card is in very good condition with minor corner wear. It is marked with the series number 51342. Be sure to see my other Clapsaddle card from the same series. Please email with any questions, and thanks for visiting Splendors Of The Past!
