ART DECO Synthetic Alexandrite and Spinel Sterling Bracelet

This Art Deco sterling silver bracelet is one of a kind! The purple and pink hand set stones are synthetic Alexandrite, known for its color shifting ability, alternating with what are either clear cubic zirconium or spinel stones, according to my jeweler. The Alexandrite stone changes in color depending on what light it is viewed in, and these stones look pink or purple, with the two smallest stones in a lighter shade. The chatons range in size from approximately 10mm to the smallest at about 7mm. These stones are hand set with prongs in a a recessed setting and there is a very fine millegrain beading around each setting. On the sides there is a fancy bow-tie shaped design. A slide-in clasp fastens securely, and there is a safety clasp on the side. Bracelet has a wearable length of 6 1/2 inches and measures just under 1/2" at the widest point. No markings at all, but definitely sterling silver and very well made. Condition is very good for a piece of this age, with some wear on the stones when viewed with a loupe, but as can be seen in the photos, these stones have plenty of sparkle!
