Circa 1943 sterling silver brooch in the shape of a bird--most likely a majestic Canadian goose--in flight. An unusual design, with its cut-out wings and body, this lovely vintage brooch from CoroCraft has clear rhinestone chatons on its throat and a red rhinestone eye. The gold wash alternates with silver on wings and body. The metal has a brushed effect that adds to the drama of the piece. At 3 1/2" x 1 1/4" this brooch will add a wonderful look to any outfit, and would be a great addition to any vintage jewelry collection. Condition is very good, with some areas that may need polishing but I will leave that to the buyer. Signed Coro Craft Sterling on the back.
