Simulated Jade and Coral Dragon Ring and Earrings

For the woman who likes the unusual, this demi-parure of adjustable ring and clip earrings is one that will truly set her apart from the ordinary. This antiqued gold tone metal set features an overlay of a ferocious dragon with five prong set faux coral beads and two oval egg-shaped faux jade beads that measure 3/8" x 1/4". The ring is further decorated with two curved pieces on the shoulders. Adjustable to fit many ring sizes. Face of ring is approximately 1" x 1" with the beads and dragon rising about 3/4" above the face. The matching earrings are the same design and measure 1" x 1" and also have very elaborately decorated backs. There is a patent number on the clip which dates the clip construction to 1952, although these may have been made at a somewhat later date. The condition of each piece is very good, with very minor wear present. Although I am not positive of the origin of this set, I have been told that it may be from Siam (Thailand), although there are no markings to indicate this.
