Hand Painted German Porcelain Powder Jar: FBS Mark

Cobalt blue hinged German porcelain powder jar circa 20's to 30's has a traditional courting scene hand painted on the lid and gold highlights surrounding the picture as well as garlands of gold decorating the upper and lower halves. There is gold trim with ribbon like detail on the top and bottom halves, and inside a pretty pastel floral painting can be seen as well on the top and bottom lid. Marked "FSB" and "Germany" on the base, along with the numbers 980-117. I have so far been unable to find the company FSB. Minor wear on the base, and on the inside a faint blue appearance in one area where the blue outer color shows through a bit more than elsewhere. There is a small spot in the glaze on the top which is difficult to see unless looking closely. Measures 3 1/8" x 2 1/4" . Please email with any questions, and thanks for visiting my shop.
