An elaborate 10 K gold frame surrounds this carved shell cameo depicting Flora, Goddess of Spring, with elaborate hairstyle complete with roses entwined in her hair, more roses draped on her shoulders and a classical air. The scalloped frame has an open Greek key design below the bezel setting, a foliate design on all four sides (N-S-E-W), and rolled edges on each corner. There is a safety clasp that is marked 10K. Measures 1 3/4" x 2 1/8" and is in excellent vintage condition. Circa 20's to 30's.
