Charming ceramic dog in shades of brown and gray is poised over a blue shoe pincushion, complete with fabric. Measures 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and is marked Japan, circa 1950's. Ceramics are in very good condition with no chips or nicks, with a slight separation between the base of the dog and the shoe. Fabric of pincushion is fragile, in keeping with age of piece.
