Cobalt blue hinged German porcelain powder jar circa 20's to 30's has a traditional courting scene hand painted on the lid and gold highlights surrounding the picture as well as garlands of gold decorating the upper and lower halves. There is gold trim with ribbon like detail on the top and bottom halves, and inside a pretty pastel floral painting can be seen as well on the top and bottom lid.
