REDUCED Fabulous Blackamoor Brightly Enameled Figural Fur Clip

This is a superb enameled Blackamoor fur clip of a native with a huge basket of fruit on her head. Unlike most blackamoors, the face is a dark brown instead of black. It has red lips, two pink cabochon eyes and neck rings of black, red, yellow and green.

The fruits, including two bananas are bright yellow tipped with brown and green and red. There are small hoop earrings.

The fur clip is 2" long x 1-1/2" wide and very dimensional at 1/2" deep. All rhinestones are present and look to be original. The clip itself is sturdy and has a good "snap" to it. The enameling is in great condition with some very minor loss. No maker's mark but worthy of being in a costume jewelry book!
