A Grecian woman's face in profile is made of iridescent blue, red, purple colors. All the stones are prong-set in bright goldtone. From Greek Mythology comes this beautifully designed Hippocamps (translated to English as "fish-tailed marine horse" or "horse of the sea") brooch. It has a horse's body, head and mane with a serpentine fish tail and fish fins for hooves. The brooch was stamped and then gilded with a highly reflective goldplating and red enameling was added to the mane, tail and fins. The brooch is 3" wide x 2-1/2" high and looks like it has hardly been worn, if at all.

Five unfoiled and faceted bright blue glass stones alternate with decorative goldplated links, each attached by a little connector. The bracelet is 7-3/8" long x 1/4" at the widest and has a foldover clasp. It is signed "Simmons" in litte block letters on the clasp and was made by the R.F. Simmons Co. out of Attleboro, Massachusetts. This pretty vintage bracelet is in great condition and much nicer than my images show - the stones almost glow when seen in person.

The thimble is very detailed with five stickpins which are a pansy with imitation turquoise cabochon, angel with imitation pearl, snake with imitation coral cab, a leaf with three imitation pearls and an embossed three crescent design with a purple rhinestone.
