Birkenfeld Air Station was home to the 615th AC & W Squadron from 1962 until 1969, when it was turned over to the German Army and renamed Oldenburg Kaserne. It was use for NATO until it closed in 1994. This neat 0.5 liter stoneware mug celebrated the first Christmas. It has gold trim around the top and is white inside. No nicks, just a tiny crack where the handle attaches which appears to be from manufacture. A neat Air Force collectible for someone who served at this location in Germany.
