This is a wonderful First Edition by Carolyn Sherwin Bailey with dust jacket. The endpaper, title page and copyright page illustrations by C.H. Lawrence are beautiful, as is the illustrated binding. It's 212 pages plus ads for other books, and is in quite remarkable condition, particularly that the dust jacket survived. No markings inside, no tears except in the dust jacket, and just slight edge wear on the red cloth covers. This is not only a rare book, but relevant today with the recent revelations (duh) that healthy, creative play is important in child development and that watching TV all day is not healthy. Check the table of contents! Parts of this book were way ahead of the times and some of it is very early 1900's beliefs. Shipping in the US by USPS Priority Mail, insured is included in the price.
