Len Deighton is probably best known as the author of The Ipcress File but he co-authored this fascinating 1978 hardcover with Arnold Schwartzman. 74 pages, with dust jacket, it provides a brief history of airships and dirigibles but provides details of dozens of crashes around the world. The endpapers have plan and side views of the Hindenburg, and it includes lots of pictures of the disasters, newspaper excerpts, and the immense airships themselves. This is a must-have for the aviation enthusiast and it's unmarked, in very good condition with a couple of nicks in the dust jacket. In addition, the front of the dust jacket has been taped over a pair of parallel slits that extend slightly into the cover, perhaps from a cutter when the box of books was opened.
