This oversized 344 page hardcover was published in 1971 with contents originating in the magazine from 1955 through 1971. By Thomas Mario, longtime Food and Drink Editor of Playboy, it is much more than a collection of recipes. Part 1 covers manners, glassware, stocking your bar, drink embellishments & mixology. Part 2 reviews the different spirits, liqueurs, brandy, wines and beer & ale. Part 3 is a wealth of recipes for cocktails, tall summer drinks, punch, hot drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Part 4 is a party resource with detailed suggestions for 15 different get-togethers for all seasons and lots of occasions. It would be a great gift for the Playboy memorabilia collector! We found this beauty during a recent trip to Honolulu and it is in very good condition, unmarked except for a mysterious "Return to: III" on the front endpapers and faint moisture stain on the edges.
