Specializing in Early 19th C English Ceramics & Meiji Era Japanese Ceramics
Excellent condition. No chips, no cracks, no crazing, no repairs, and no utensil marks. I am sure this very decorative plate was made for display, and always used that way.
Many marks on the back: printed in brown - WEDGWOOD ETRURIA, ENGLAND . Also: impressed WEDGWOOD P . Also, handpainted in red, the pattern number : 4685 and other marks. And the impressed datemark CTI for 1906 (or it could be CTT for 1891...the last letter is unclear). Anyhow, late 19th C or early 20th C.
