The jardiniere is about 11 " high, with a top diameter of about 11", and a circumference of about 40". It weighs over 9 pounds.
The condition is excellent. No chips, no cracks, no repairs. The piece rings when tapped. There was a slight flaw "in the making"...a few inches of the transfer on the inner rim didn't quite "take" and looks a bit rubbed out. See my close up photo. There is some staining on the base of the interior from a plant.
You can find a photo of this pattern on page 122, plate 296 of Mary Frank Gaston's book, "The Collector's Encyclopedia of Flow Blue". The mark on the base says "Doulton, Burslem, England " and the pattern name, "Vernon". This mark dates the jardiniere to 1891-1902.
