This attractive gold cigar clipper is marked: R. S. PAT. DEC. 9. '02. 14 K . I have learned that the letter "R" used by the Patent Office is for a design patent.

The cutter measures 2-1/6" closed, and 2-9/16" open. It weighs 11 grams. It's in excellent condition, and good working order.

The monogram may read F M H , but I am hopeless when it comes to reading monograms. See the photos, and decipher it for yourself.
