Although it displays well, it has several old cracks, and could no longer be used for making tea. There are no chips or repairs. The spout and the handle are in excellent condition.
The main color is a sort of brick red transfer, and there are overglaze enamels of green, yellow, and more brick red. One side is decorated with a giant farmer plowing with the world's smallest ox. The other side shows a man showing a flower to a child holding a parasol.
The teapot is 10" long and about 6-3/4" high.
