19th C Bohemian Coffee Can/Cup & Saucer, Hand Painted en grisaille

This pristine porcelain coffee can and saucer was made by Fischer & Reichenbach, of Pirkenhammer, Bohemia 1822-46. It has a beautifully hand painted scene of countryside and farm buildings en grisaille.

The cup is 2-3/8" (6 cm) high, and the saucer's diameter is 5-1/8" (13 cm). The set is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Both pieces ring when struck. There is only the slightest wear to the gold of the saucer's interior ring. The saucer is impressed: F & R.
