This charming copper lustre pottery Pepper Pot has a band of yellow decorated with pink lustre flowers. It is about 4-1/2" high. We often see copper lustre mugs, but this form is quite rare. We date it c. 1820.

Condition? There are several chips to the turned flange at the top of the castor (just below the "sprinkling" area). They are not too obvious because of the underlying dark brown earthenware. Other than that, the condition is fine with no other chips or cracks.
