This is a high quality pressed glass plate made to commemorate the 50 year reign (1848-1898) of Franz Joseph I, Emperor of Austria, and King of Hungary and Bohemia. It has wonderful double portraits of the Kaiser, fine stippling, and great clarity.

It is 5-1/4" (13.5 cm) in diameter. The plate is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. I apologize for the glare on the photos. I tried to move the plate around & take different shots, so you would see each part without glare.

It was most likely made by the S. Reich factory of Vienna.
