This great Chinoiserie pattern was also used by a number of English Staffordshire factories during the mid 19th C. Starting in 1854 the Petrus Regout factory in Holland purchased a number of patterns being used by English competitors. This information is from Howard Davis' book "Chinoiserie/Polychrome Decoration on Staffordshire Pottery 1790-1850".
This plate has no chips, crazing or repairs. There is storage wear to the orange lustre. Since the plate does not ring when struck, there must be an invisible hairline crack somewhere. I cannot see it or feel it.
