Antique mid-19th C Toby polychrome tobacco jar in the form of a chubby fellow with black hat (lid) , cobalt blue coat, checked waistcoat, and orange knee breeches. He has a glass in his left hand, and a jug in his right hand. Grey wig, rounded base.

About 5 " high. No maker's mark. See Page 211 of Miller's 2003 Price Guide for a similar tobacco jar dated 1850.

Condition? There are chips to his hat, a hairline interior crack to body, and an old repair to the base. Please scrutinize photos.
