Specializing in Early 19th C English Ceramics & Meiji Era Japanese Ceramics
It is about 16" high to the top of the handle, about 17" long (not including the metal holder for the shovel), and about 11-1/4" wide.
Very nice condition. There are the expected scratches and mars, showing over 100 years of use. The left front edge is bent a bit at the corner, and missing its paint there. The inner, lift-out box is intact and in good shape. The shovel which went on the back is missing. The handle is of nickel plated brass with much of the nickel worn away.
