If there is one thing I know for certain, it is that being grateful for a thing will bring more of that thing into your life. I have wanted to make these Gratitude Beads for some time now, but seemed to never get around to it. In light of the recent crisis with my nephew contracting West Nile Virus, I thought that this must be the appropriate moment. I constructed this pendant much in the fashion of a rosary....as a reminder to give individual attention and gratitude for at least five things everyday. Fingering each bead brings focus to that one thing that you are grateful for today. I hope that you have to repeat the five beads many times a day!

The pendant is made with a Sterling Silver affirmation band that is engraved with the word Gratitude. Five pink crystal beads are strung and wired with Sterling Silver wire.....a pink ribbon awareness charm dangles below. A simple suede lace strap holds the pendant. You may have a favorite chain you would like to add or hang it on your purse or a loop of your jeans to make Jean Jewels with it. I personally like to have mine in my pocket when wearing it as a pendant isn't appropriate. The important thing is to bring your attention to those things in your life for which you are grateful.
